DBC-SG Crowdfunding Campaign Day 2 of 16 Progress 1. We managed to raise US$1,148 (achieving 29% of the base target) from a total of 33 funders. Namaste. 2. All funders originate from Singapore. There are visitors from other countries as well:
3. This is another interesting Indiegogo Statistics (not commonly seen/published by other Indiegogo campaigns), ie. where the Fund contributors got to know our campaign from? A big Thank-you to these platforms as well:
I continue to pray that the DBC-SG Crowdfunding Campaign Media Press Kit that was sent to the 20+ Singapore, Australia and US bloggers was received and read. This campaign is summarised in the 3 mins Youtube video: http://dhz.us/-/dbcv (http://dhz.us/-/dbcv)
4. Tara was my sweet daughter that we lost on 9 July 2009.... ... ... I will share more about us when either (a) we reached our base target of $4,000 or, (b) when this campaign ends.
Yours Sincerely, Tara Green JT (Dr.) On behalf of the "DBC-SG Support Group" Exco team PS: I dedicate this Vivaldi Winter Largo concert performance to my beloved daughter who left us too soon....

Update: New Strategy - Meet the MP
Friends in Singapore,
1. For those who are planning to talk to your MP (Member of Parliament) or someone important in the .gov circles about this Speculative Invoicing and how it is affecting you or the 500+ people in Singapore, this is my recommended steps to take:
Step 1: Goto the Slides for the Campaign pitching video: http://dhz.us/-/dbcslides (http://dhz.us/-/dbcslides)
Step 2: Scroll down to the bottom of that page
Step 3: Click onto the 2 links to download the pdf materials: (1) What is Speculative Invoicing, (2) Slides
Step 4: If possible, print the "What is Speculative Invoicing" pdf in color (esp. the yellow highlights)
Step 5: Printing of the slides can be in B&W if you want to save the color ink (though color is preferred as well)
Step 6: Read through both printouts and if you have any question esp. on the slides, ask me in the Chat Platform http://dhz.us/-/dbchat (http://dhz.us/-/dbchat) first before you go (because your MP may ask you some questions on certain slides)
Step 7: While in the queue waiting for your turn, load our Youtube 3 mins campaign video http://dhz.us/-/dbcv (http://dhz.us/-/dbcv) in your iPad-Tablet / Laptop / Smartphone and where possible, show the MP the short video if possible as that would help set the stage for your discussion.
Step 8: If there is any question from the MP that you are unable to answer, just write them down dutifully and inform your MP that we'll revert back to him. Contact me at ipresearch70(at)gmail.com the list of questions and the DBC-SG Support Exco team will prepare a response for the good man/woman accordingly.
2. Be mindful that your MP may be hearing about Speculative Invoicing business practice for the first time in his life, therefore, while there are loads of information on why Speculative Invoicing is wrong, try not to overwhelm the MP - unless he/she is the Law Minister or Ms. Indranee. As such, before meeting the MP:
(a) we need to understand the essence of Speculative invoicing first, and then
(b) teach our MP on what is Speculative invoicing but just sufficient for him to understand the basics - otherwise, it would be a wasted trip (preparation, queuing, heart skipping many beats, etc)For the first meeting with our good MP, simplicity is the key.
May the force be with us.
Yours Sincerely, T. Green (Dr.)

Important update (Day 4): A possible Sabotage by our Opponents
This is a public report on a possible 1st instance of a Sabotage staged by our Opponents. : : * snipped * The reporting of the possible sabotage turned out to be a misunderstanding. Sorry, pal :-(
Intel, DBC-LLC vs Singapore Strategy
1. The latest strategy of Meet the MP appears to worry our opponents.
2. This is a summary of our current multi-prong strategies: (a)Crowdfunding strategy where if fund raised is
(i) below $5,000: for legal and possibly settlement fees,
(ii) between $5,000 to $9,999: 2a(i) + teaching DBC LLC and the Singapore that we can educate the alleged regarding the importance of intellectual property & securing their IT networks,
(iii) between $10k to 50k: 2a(ii) + to invalidate DBC LLC digital evidence & its chain of custody,
(iv) Above $50k: 2a(iii) + Pay it forward by benefiting Australia, USA, Denmark and other countries that DBC LLC is visiting...
(b) Meet the MP - using the 8-step approach outline in the previous update, or in this link
At this moment, the most cost-effective strategy is 2(b) and if the public has other interesting strategies that we can consider, do reach out to us.
3. I repeat, for those who are going to meet your MP, you are highly recommended to follow the 8-step approach (http://is.gd/cOrO0m) that I have outlined in the previous update.
In addition, do inform me know which MP you have approached so that I can publicly document and track the MP's progress on the subsequent follow up as well - do approach MPs from both the ruling party as well as alternative parties (such as those from the Workers' Party who told us during the last election that they want to serve as Co-driver (http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/93601296-post5498.html)for the People!)
Have a good week ahead, T Green (Dr.)

Update: How to send Private Message security in the Public (using PGP)
1. An All-in-One PGP Webpage has been setup to facilitate the secure exchange of messages among the proponents - this is a good alternative to sending the traditional Private Message in the discussion forum where one needs to register to an account revealing one's email address.
2. Details on this is available in this link: http://goo.gl/6iHbfV (http://goo.gl/6iHbfV)

Update: People asked those of us actively helping the "DBC-SG Support Group: Why are you helping the alleged infringers?
One great answer can be found in today's Straits Times Forum article titled "Volunteering is a form of donation" Published on May 4, 2015 12:04 AM
THE recent article "Transforming lives, one student at a time" (AsiaOne; April 23) clearly described the power and beauty of volunteerism.
Volunteers donate their time, effort and energy to help some academically weaker students from low-income families.
With the assistance and psychological support received, these students flourished - brought back to the proper path to pursue better academic qualifications and are now able to repay what they have received through volunteerism.
Volunteerism is a form of donation, which we can inculcate in our society. Students can be taught to volunteer in areas that they are comfortable in or confident with.
In this way, they are not only helping others but themselves, too, as they have the opportunity to hone their skills and improve their self-confidence.
Adults need not always donate money but can explore ways to donate their time, effort, in their areas of expertise, to help those in need.
For instance, those who are academically inclined can give free tuition to students; those have green fingers can help share their knowledge on growing plants; those who are good coordinators can help to organise day trips for students or seniors, and so on.
These are some of the ways we can make our society better and more inclusive.

Accountability Update for Affected Parties & Fund Contributors #1
Dear Affected Parties,
1. All verified Affected Parties would have received a BCC email from me regarding a specific request relevant to your group (do check your junk box in case this bcc email landed up in your junk or spam box). I need a reply by this Friday.
2. There is another group, the semi-verified affected parties, where some of your documents are still pending full verification. This is a reminder regarding what I need for the verification: http://goo.gl/ZNO36Q

2. When USA is ready and starts a DBC-US Crowdfunding Campaign, I'll seek to be the first from Singapore to reciprocate.
3. For our Aussie friends, when you are ready with a DBC-AU Crowdfunding Campaign, I am willing to contribute in-kind for the setup of your Indiegogo campaign. Same for Denmark when you are ready with DBC-DK Crowdfunding Campaign. Just drop us a note.

Update: Transparency and What Funders Information do I get from Indiegogo?
For the discerning public, you may noticed the 4 tabs in my Indiegogo Dashboard:
Tab 1: Campaign Insights
Tab 2: Perks
Tab 3: Contributions
Tab 4: Funds
The screen snapshots for Tab 1 and Tab 2 are shown in the previous update, if you miss them, see http://goo.gl/NU8Fni and http://goo.gl/JRS5Gl
In this update, I would like to further share with the fund contributors & the prospective fund contributors what information will I received when you contribute to this campaign.
Tab 3: Contributions(note that I only get to know your email address (which is essential for me to get in touch with you on our progress on the funds usage): (http://dishonest.biz/forum/images/DBCF_DayX_Stats3.gif) CSV file that is exported from Tab 3: (http://dishonest.biz/forum/images/DBCF_Day8_XLS.gif)
Once the campaign is over, I will receive the fund in a single lumpsum from Indiegogo, ie. I will not be able to see which paypal or credit card info that you have used. It's just me and Indiegogo for the fund transfer. Details: https://indiegogolife.support.indiegogo.com/hc/en-us/articles/204372303-When-to-Expect-Your-Funds
Thus, the possible 'weakest' link is your email address that I will get to know. Credits to guest135, I got to know of an interesting disposable email service for those who need to maintain 100% privacy & anonymity. Details: http://discard.email
If anyone knows how to make contributions to Indiegogo via Bitcoins (direct or indirect), please reach out to us.

10 April 2017 Updates
1. The DBC-SG journey started 24 months ago (on 11 April 2015).
2. Trials, tribulations and suffering are 3 suitable words to describe those who received the DBC / SSLC letter of demand.
3. Kindness, generousity and selflessness are 3 suitable words to describe those (mostly Singapore-based residents) who were contributed to the DBC-SG crowd-funding campaigns.
4. For public record purposes, collected funds were solely used to pay for the defense legal fees - none were used for settlement, because as the DBC / SSLC cases are invalid and as such, we did not (and still do not) see a sensible reason to settle.
5. The remaining amount of funds = $2,415.02 (RF).
6. There is no movement from SSLC / DBC on the DBC cases for the past many months ago. While this implies a high probability that the DBC nightmare in Singapore is over, there still exist a minute chance that SSLC / DBC will try some other tricks on selected cases.
7. I will continue to monitor this situation for a while longer and in the meantime, I welcome the DBC-SG crowd sourcing contributors to write to me on what we can do with RF.
Rdgs, Dr. Green Chairperson of DBC-SG Support Group.
