Fake MOM Websites [SCAM]
« on: October 28, 2016, 12:48:10 PM »

Duplicate of MOM website | 26 October 2016
Only use www.mom.gov.sg for all MOM-related information and transactions.

It has come to our attention that there is a fake MOM website that is phishing for visitors’ personal information and data – http://govsg.mom.

We would like to remind members of the public to exercise caution so that they do not unwittingly fall prey to such fake websites.

Fake websites surface from time to time and we would like to remind members of the public to remain vigilant, especially for transactional purposes. Members of the public are advised to use only the official MOM website at www.mom.gov.sg for all informational and transactional needs concerning MOM matters.

Despite these fake websites, we would like to assure everyone that access to the official MOM website remains unaffected and no data has been compromised. We will work to bring down these websites and will continue to monitor for such fake websites.

Duplicates of MOM's corporate website | 20 August 2015
Only use www.mom.gov.sg for all MOM-related information and transactions.

It has come to our attention that there are duplicates of MOM’s corporate website at www.momgovsg.com and www.mom-gov-sg.com. We have lodged a case with the Police.

Fake websites such as those listed above surface from time to time, and we would like to take this opportunity to remind members of the public to remain vigilant and exercise caution when using the Internet, especially for transactional purposes. Doing so will ensure that one does not unwittingly fall prey to such websites.

We would like to remind members of the public to only use the official MOM website at www.mom.gov.sg for all informational and transactional needs concerning MOM matters.

At the same time, we would also like to assure everyone that access to the official MOM website remains unaffected and no data has been compromised.
